Laugh for a cure
Guests giggled for a good cause at the Save our Sons charity ‘Laugh for a Cure’ comedy night. Over 900 people filled the Enmore theatre at Newtown to help raise funds to find a cure for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Our team at Scope went above and beyond to hire the best Australian comedic talents, stage sets and audio-visual equipment to create a fun, vibrant event that left everyone in stitches.
Mark Geyer and Gus Worland from the Triple M grill team hosted the evening, which included hilarious performances from comedy queen Julia Morris; Fat Pizza’s Tahir, Rob Shehadie and Anthony Salame; international star Vince Sorrenti; funny-man Mikey Robins; the Old Fella and ventriloquist Darren Carr. We effectively utilized social media (Twitter, Facebook, etc) leading up to and during the event to create a buzz online and in the media.
It was an electric night of entertainment that encouraged guests to give young boys around Australia a chance at life through their generous donations and attendance.
