Celebrating trading platform TMGM’s partnership with Chelsea FC, Scope was commissioned to design and deliver an end-to-end activation for staff, clients and stakeholders at the Barangaroo head office. Scope designed the overarching concept, spatial design, styling, staging, technical production, and on-site management to be a turnkey production solution. And while this might not seem like the natural place for elite footballers, the transformation of a corporate office into a premium event venue was flawless.
The corporate space required a complete structural rewrite, including optimising the floor plan to create a seamless experience from arrival to the main event, a blue-carpet arrival experience, media walls, Q+A sessions, and a meet-and-greet zone. Staging player walkouts and brand reveals against floor-to-ceiling windows meant competing with intense natural light. To prevent visuals from washing out, we re-engineered screen specifications, positioning and brightness calibration to ensure a sharp, colour-accurate LED display.
The centrepiece of the day was a live Q+A segment with high-profile Chelsea FC players, including Cole Palmer and João Pedro, an exclusive experience that required high-end production values and an aesthetic that championed both partners. Sensitive, elegant design elements, including sub-tropical floral displays, custom-cerulean cocktails and bouquets that reference the blue and gold of Chelsea’s strip, were carried throughout, premium styling that elevated a corporate environment into a Premier League partnership.
Technically, Scope delivered big: purpose-built staging for live Q+A segments and fan photo opportunities was designed to be effective and complementary to the office environment, with daylight-calibrated LED elements, strategically placed media walls, and live camera coverage for broadcast-quality content capture for all stakeholder channels. To manage this, we ran a full on-site production crew to manage everything from bump-in to bump-out, professionally, purposefully, and with the respect this event deserved.
